I started making this last year and the family loves it! We use fresh raw cream and raw milk from our farm and fresh farm eggs talk about yummy! This is great for Lactose people if you can get the raw products if not organic is best. We dont use the rum because of the kids comes out great too.

I have to say that I am one of those that thought I didn't like eggnog. I guess it is because I am use to the stuff out of the box.
After trying this recipe one year for Christmas, it has become a family request!
Thanks to Mama for such a treat!

I had never had homemade eggnog. Now I know why it is a holiday favorite. It is even good without the liquor for those who want non-acoholic.

Of all the recipe's I have from Food Network this is the one that I use the most. I love it. I no longer purchase my egg nog in a carton. I can't, after tasting this recipe I can never go store bought again. Thank you Paula Deen.

Didn't care for, now much flavor. didn't know how to fix it. Was not rich like I expect eggnog to be.

Really, really good. This was my first shot at ever making eggnog, and it was a total hit at the party. Even people who didn't like eggnog were drinking it up. I used Maker's Mark which I think complemented the eggnog flavor really well. Delicious. Will make again next year when Christmastime rolls around. :

I looked for a recipe for eggnog at Christmas time because my daughter and I and my Mom all love egg nog and Mom could not remember the exact recipe that she used and we really wanted some. So I got the recipe from Paula and tried it. We had some guests over that evening and we all had some. It was the hit of our evening and everyone just loved it. I had a little left and my daughter finished it off in the middle of the night. She even wanted me to makesome more it was a great sucess and I know that I can always count on Paula for great recipes.
