I have a diabetic husband that just loves this cake. I t is not that sweet and it has a great taste. I add a little almond flavor along with the vanilla. I is wondwerful.

I made this recipe in two bread loaf pans instead of the bundt pan, baked at 350F for 1h15m and they both turned out perfectly! The light golden crust melted in our mouths like shortbread cookies, and the cake was surprisingly light and fluffy inside. I vacuum sealed one loaf for a later use, and used the other immediately for strawberry shortcakes. Delicious!!!

As usual, Paula's recipes come through. I was searching for a pound cake recipe and know I can't go wrong with Paula. Rich and delicious and it completely fills a bundt pan. My husband was cutting it almost before I could remove it from the pan.

This is one of the best recipes that I have tried off of this website! My family all agreed that this is a KEEPER!
The second time I made this I added a touch of cinnamon and pecans & it was better than the first time-- Hard to believe!! Thanks for the recipe!!!!
