This is just like pound cake I grew up with. Very moist and easy. The cake is gone in 2 days tops.

I made Grandma Paul's pound cake from Paula Deen. Everyone who tasted it told me I should sell it. It was so good.

This was so easy to make and sooo yummy when it was done. I had no problems with the baking time, and it was moist with the perfect texture. I did add a tsp more of vanilla, but only because I love to really taste it in my baked goods. Thank you Paula for sharing this wonderful recipe!!! I love your show, and I think your just great!!!

This is a great recipe! I recommed that you use a stand mixer in order to make sure that it is done correctly. I, like another reviewer used butter flavored Crisco and it turned out beautifully. Also used non-stick spray with flour, used for baking. It only took an hour for it to bake and be aware that if you are using a dark bundt pan, your cake will be darker on the outside.

I am not much of a baker but I love Paula Deen. One of my co-workers fixed this cake and brought it to work. It was soooo good that I thought I would get the recipe and try it. I did modify the flavor a bit by adding lemon but overall it was very easy and very good. I would definately advise anybody with limited baking expertise to try the recipe.

We love pound cake and I could never find a recipe that I loved. I think I've found a winner in this one. My son and I fought over the bowl! I made cream cheese icing to go on half the cake (my son has to have icing and it was great!

...To get it absolutely perfect!! This is almost exactly like my very Southern Grandmother's Pound Cake recipe. I'm a pound cake fan and this one is by far the best out there. Very versatile, too. I've made this 100s of times. Paula knows genius when she tastes it!!

I lost my usual pound cake recipe and checked this website for a replacement. Loving Paula's cooking, I tried this one first. I don't need to look at the others--this one is fantastic--better than my old one! I added almond extract because I prefer that flavor and it was just incredible. This is a classic that you should always have in your recipe box!
