I purchased some salmon from the market and froze it. $1.99 LB. What a deal! I am not a big salmon fan and needed a recipe that would allow me to feel as if I had not wasted my money.
This was it! Oh my God, it was delicious. I loved it. I marinated it over night. The only thing that I did differently was to sprinkle a little salt on it before I grilled it.
I would recommend this to anyone!

PS- A garlic press works for the ginger also.

This dish was so delicious and amazingly simple. The best part...it looked and tasted like a dish from a very upscale restaurant. The salmon with the salsa was a perfect blend of "yummy". I can't wait for company so I can impress them with my cooking skills!!!

Great Recipe! I've done this several times and everytime my guests love it. In fact, the ones that had it request it EVERYTIME I cook for them. The only difference I do is my cooking method, in which I bake the filets in a 350F oven for approx. 11-15min. depending on how you like it. I also sprinkle sesame seeds ontop for texture. Thanks for the recipe!

I made this for a pre-Valentine's dinner for my fiance and I and it was a great hit! He at least tried the salsa, which I loved. The jalopenos add a nice bit of heat. I would suggest cutting the pineapple down from the large chunks so it is more even in size across the board.

    Delicious! Thanks Paula!

Loved this recipe. I reaaly wondered about marinating salmon that long but it was very good. Loved the salsa but thought maybe would use less salt next time
