    I tweeked this recipe a little (use trio instant mashed and cheddar cheese and use it for groups from 10 - 250 people! Eveyone loves it and the leftovers are great. You can even add additional milk and make a great soup from the leftovers. Or add leftover ham and have another great cassarole. Its a favorite for us.

    I fixed this last night for my extended family. I am the youngest of the family and take a lot of abuse about my cooking. The potatos were such a hit all I heard was great praise mixed with " I have to have this recipe". I served prime rib, your potatos, green beans, tossed salad, home made bread and pineapple bars for desert. Thanks for sharing such special recipes with us! Grandma always knows best.

    All I can say is thank goodness this recipe didn't come with the nutritional information. Ignorance is bliss, right? These potatoes are amazing. I followed the recipe to a tee and they came out perfectly. Made them for the in-laws and got rave reviews.

    I'm confused do I use both packages of the instant mash potatos or 1????

    THis was real good, but don't like to use boxed potatoes. Thought I'd try it anyway for a large group for Easter brunch. Next time I will use my own mashed potatoes.
