Sweet potatoes this way are awesome. I love sweet potato anyhow, but I always hate dealing with the skin. You don't have that problem with these. I didn't measure my potatoes I just used all that I had on hand, which was a lot! I followed the remaineder of the recipe exactly, these things are awesome. I love 'em, but I love sweet potatoes!! But these were easy, the hardest part was peeling them and dicing them.

These mashed sweet potatoes are delicious! This is a Collins family staple; I do add extra honey, and boil my potatoes in a little cinnamon.

I really liked this dish, but I had to sub in a few russet potatoes due to one of my sweet potatoes going rotten before I made the dish. Still very good, but next time will definitely make sure to have plenty of sweet potatoes. I also added a little more salt--I just like my sweet potatoes a little savory.

I did not make this recipe, but something very similar. Instead of honey I used maple syrup and no cinnamon, but a dash of nutmeg and a couple of splashes of milk...It will make them lighter and creamier in texture (AND BETTER!. Also I nuked the sweet potatoes in the microwave, just poke them with a fork a bunch of times and microwave it for about 6 to 8 minutes depending on the circumference of the sweet potato. Then you don't even have to wait for the water to boil! Don't overdo it on the maple syrup, since its a very strong flavor. I think a tablespoon for 3 or 4 potatoes would be enough, you can always add more if u like it.

This is a great recipe. I also did what another reviewer suggested and added some ground nutmeg and added some milk to give the consistency I liked. Very simple, I'll be making this a lot for my family.

It's a very easy -to-make recipe! Were I live now (Lebanon, the country can't find the organge sweet potatoes, we have only the white ones so I had to increase the ammount of honey and cinnamon for a better taste, I loved the result! Thanks Paula!! :D
