I loved brussels sprouts growing up, but when i tried making them myself in the oven they would just develop a burnt flavor.
Making them this way I've rediscovered my love of them. You really can't go wrong with bacon and garlic and butter, and cooking the brussels sprouts in butter that's been infused with all those flavors is a great idea.
I don't think animal fat is bad for you, we benefit from it if anything. So I wouldn't call this recipe unhealthy unless you're having bacon and butter in every meal.

This is an instant hit with my whole family! Even the kids loved it. Husband says this is how I have to make them from now on.

I didn't have any fresh ones so I used frozen ones. My husband is a picky eater and he LOVED these, I've made them twice since Sunday. I haven't had any in so many years, these are the best, my 8 year old likes them too, this will be a regular in my house.

Awesome! I have never tried cooking brussel sprouts and have only eaten them a couple times when eating out. I was amazed at how easy this was to do and how good they turned out. How can you go wrong with garlic and bacon?

I think Brussels Sprouts are disgusting but they are my fiance's favorite veggie. I picked some up at Walmart and looked for a way to cook them, I tasted them as I was cooking and I was amazed how good these were, I will be making and eating these at least once a week. I used more bacon then the recipe called for.
