This was not up to Paula Deen's standard of great cooking! Unfortunately, I won't be making this one again.

I was really disapointed there was nothing mexican about it. I usually love your dishes. But as you can see eveyone has added something to it to make it a little taster. The only thing mexican about it was the tortilas.LOL Sorry Paula but this one is a not. Love your shows though. And I do have some of your cook books and take you magazine. And use a lot of your recipes.

Wonderful, easy dish. I added a can of Rotel instead of just plain tomato. Wow that kicks it up! The sause is great for dipping your chips in as well.:

I litterally just made this 3 hrs ago and LOVE it . so i did do some changes because i was scared that it would be bland. For the recipie as is i would give it 2 stars but it is a good starting point. I used a rotisserie chicken from the store cuts on prep time and also addes alot of flavor. i added some cilantro, red pepper flakes, and a can of diced jalapenos. we also used jalapeno and cheddar tortillas and it came out GREAT! and was not that spicy at all but added the needed flavor.

I read a few of the reviews that said the finished dish didn't have much flavor. To ensure that did not happen to me, I added a packet of taco seasoning to the soup/chicken/tomato (Rotel mixture. I also made sure to season the chicken very well with salt, pepper, onion and garlic powders, cumin and chipotle chili powder. To put more protein in the dish, I also rinsed a can of black beans and added them to the mix. I can't speak to what it would taste like if the recipe was followed exactly, but I'm guessing if the chicken isn't seasoned liberally, the result would be rather bland. We'll definitely make this again!

No flavor, not one ingredient suggests mexican. She best stay with Southern cooking.

This recipe is horrible! Three soups make a paste.I wondered if I shouldn't dilute while making but did not deviate from the recipe. I will not make it again. Doesn't anyone test these first?
