My husband had asked me to make these cookies. I searched all over online and these were the best rated so I thought I would give them a try! What a great idea that was. These turned out absolutely amazing. My husband came home and couldn't believe I had made them! They make a VERY pretty cookie and perfect for the holidays! The only change I made was I scooped them out with a floured tablespoon and kept them in ball form. Delicious!!

It melts in my mouth! Cannot be easier and more delicious. Thus will be one of the cookies that I will make once and once again.

My mom used to make these when I was a kid, but they had a different name. They are a nice light cookie. At Christmas time, I colored a batch green and made them as per the recipe. I made another batch that I colored red and substituted almond extract for the vanilla extract. They were equally delicious. The two cookies made a nice looking Christmas cookie plate.

The cookies are perfect! Just the way I remeber as a kid. There is no reason to bake them so low for, so long. I did 325 for 15 minutes and they were perfect.

It is a real Holiday cookie, It is so smooth, with a delicate chew factor. Granded it takes a

long time in the oven, but only make these once in a while, so why not have the BEST!!
