This is a very simple cookie, but packed with flavor. Very easy to make. I made them for a cookie exchange at work.

Oh, Paula. How I do LOVE your show and you! But man, was I disappointed in this cookie. The cookie ended up completely dry, too dense, with a burnt, odd taste. And no, they weren't over-cooked, they were just awful. My mom and I tried making them twice last night, and ugh, not good. I see I'm in the minority here, and that's fine, too. But it needed to be told - not good. Not good at all. I guess they can't all be winners. On a completely positive note, Paula, you're fabulous. Your sons are fabulous. I thoroughly enjoy your shows, and I wish you and your family much continued success and joy!
