The taste and the texture of the crawfish pie is excellent, but no matter what I do it won't thicken right. Other than that this recipe is top of the line wonderful.

i made these pies and thought they were delicious, and fairly easy to make. I would recommend them for parties and snacks. They also go good as a main entree served over rice.

Good Stuff!! My pastry didn't turn out right. My fault. Came out as little cups. So we just but the mixture on top and snacked on it that way. Used 1 1/2 Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning ---too salty!. For the lefovers I sprinkled cheese (any it good on top and heated in oven. Used crackers and tortilla chips to eat with. Very Good! Will definately keep this one!

I really wish I would have read the review below before making this. Followed the recipe exactly and upon tasting the filling could not believe how salty this was! I agree that the cajun seasoning should be 3 teaspoons not tablespoons. Had to add so much water to make it edible that it was then way too thin to use as a filling. Ended up ruining 1 lb of crawfish tails which are very expensive where I live. I was so disappointed.

I made these and they are just wonderful. They are not the easiest thing I've made but still anybody can make them. I made mine in a cupcake pan and found this worked well. I froze some that were left over and take them to work with me. That works really well for a quick lunch that can be microwaved and eaten easily. Very, very good!

Love this recipe! Every Sunday night I cook for my roomates and this recipe is by far the most requested on the list. The dough works out every since time which is wonderful.

Paula...Everything you do is absolutely wonderful! From your recipes to watching your drop-dead gorgeous sons share the kitchen with their Mom, watching the love and caring you show for your husband Michael in your beautiful home with your cute, sweet doggies, or hearing all your heart-warming stories and memories of all your loved ones that shaped and molded you to the person we ALL absolutely LOVE and are inspired by today, you make television woth watching and cooking FUN and EXCITING! As for the "true southerner" and their hateful comments below, is somebody MAKING you watch her show? Hopefully so! I can only pray that as you continue to watch her show that God will soften your heart and you will see how this blessed woman, through her show and attitude, can somehow change you for the better. Take care and God bless to all in this New Year!
