OMG. I made these for Thanksgiving and it was an absolute HIT! I changed it up by using both white cheddar and yellow chedder cheese. This was so tasty and easy to make. I can't wait to do these again.

I made these this evening and for having never done anything like this before, I can honestly say I nailed it. My picky 6 year old son wolfed his down. He wanted seconds but I told him to wait 5 minutes before going for round two. After 5 min. he was stuffed... I added chopped up bacon to my mixture and poured it in on the noodles. I could have added a bit more salt but not much more. I think a couple shots of tobasco sauce, or cayenne or even some hot shot would help give it a bit more lively flavor. But thats just me... All in all very filling, easy to make, and pretty dog gone good.

These were great served with BBQ Ckn! I made the recipe as is and kids all liked them which was a surprise because my son usually will not eat Mac and Cheese. Husband really liked the flavor. I did not not even tell him where I got the recipe and he said "paula dean". Yep, you can tell there was no cutting calories or fat with this one! I will make again, but I really would enjoy a lighter version. Too heavy for me. The crust could be done with less cheese or none. ANYONE try a lighter version of this pass it on please.

These were easy to make and good. I tasted after combining all ingrediants and found it to be a little bland. I added more cheese and a little cayan. That helped. The kids loved them. I will make again with various cheeses. Good base recipe.

5 MILLION STARS! Paula's best show EVER! Paula, you, Jamie and little Jack made this show rock! That kid isn't cute, you know--he left cute at the gate and went straight for adorable! I loved this recipe, because, as a bigger kid, mac and cheese is still a first love. I know how to figure lower fat options for this, but it's the perfect little portions that rocked it out. WE NEED MORE SHOWS WITH JACK IN THEM! ~~signed Jack's first Fan Club Member

PS: You DID forget one thing on your ingredient list, Paula. If you're going to FEATURE a kid, you need to tell us where we can get one. Is he on the same aisle as the sprinkles?

My family loved these little pies! They were very easy to make. I have to admit that I used Kraft macaroni and cheese in the crusts because my son will not eat any other kind of mac and cheese. I added extra cheddar on top and no one complained about "kid food." I will definitely make these again.

This recipe has huge potential, but following the recipe almost exactly doesn't really do it for me. I'm not giving up, though. After reading some reviews, I think bacon would be fantastic and also adding some better melting cheese. My kids like the cupcake factor, but I think I may throw in some American cheese for them next time. I had no problem with them staying together - I did pre-bake the crust. I also upped my cheese to a total of 3 1/2 cups instead of 2. Giada was making something similar and putting veggies and turkey in the cups. I think that would also be a good idea.

Have made this recipe several times since I first saw it on TV. I use extra sharp or aged cheddar to give it a boost. As I live in the West Indies aged or sharp not always available so occasionally add a tsp of dried mustard when using mild cheddar.
The first time I made the recipe I had an awful lot of macaroni left over so simply put in a casserole and baked. This recipe is still great without the crackers.
To the member who used Cheez Its -- great idea. Will keep that in mind. Also plan to try recipe using cheese doodles or something similar. Thank you Paula for so many wonderful recipes.

My family and friends enjoyed these delectable pies... my sister even wants the recipe, but I won't give it to her! She doesn't know I got it from you. :-

I really enjoy your show and will continue to try more of your tips and recipes.

    Thank you very much
