My family loved these and they are so simple to make. My very picky 7 year old asked for me. My only suggestion is to have a little extra icing as it "glues" the marshmellows to the brownies. I also used Hershey's Dark cocoa as a substitute for the regular cocoa and it was excellent. I too had it at 350 degrees and had to bake it an extra 10 minutes.

I saw Paula make this on t.v and it looked so good that I decided to make this cake for my husband and his co workers as a Christmas treat. The next day I had to send multiple copies of this recipe back to work with him. It' s inexpensive and really quick and easy. And I just cant say enough about how delicious it was. Gonna make it again for a New Years eve party.

I made this for my kids last night and they were all looking for tupperware to take some home! I did bake it 10 minutes longer and used one cup brown sugar in place of the granulated sugar and it was fantastic!!

Maybe those saying the cake wasn't done should purchase an oven thermometer. Oven temperatures can vary from oven to oven; even the placement inside the oven can make a difference. Please don't blast the recipe until you have tested your oven.
Love ya, Paula!

I have been using healthier options for baking for the past 6 months. This is the first time I tried a chocolate cake. I will use this recipe for my basic chocolate cake. I did have to play around with the recipes for making this a healthy option. I did do the topping different. I used a brown rice marshmallow fluff, instead of the mini marshmallows. And for the chocolate sauce i melted some dark chocolate chips and soy milk and added crispy brown rice cereal to it, spread that over the fluff. It came out so good. The whole family loved it! I highly suggest trying this recipe.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT WENT WRONG, BUT IT DIDN'T COME OUT AS EXPECTED. NOW THAT I LOOK AT THE PICTURE, I PUT THE CHOCOLATE ON THE WRONG LAYER. I'M SURE IT'S SOMETHING I DID, BECAUSE I LOVE PAULA, AND EVERYTHING SHE MAKES IS GREAT. THE CHOCOLATE TASTED A LITTLE GRITTY. I ENDED UP THROWING MOST OF IT AWAY. AT ANY RATE, I STILL LOVE PAULA.

This cake was delicious and very rich! My husband likes it as is, I prefer to warm mine up in the microwave and let the marshmellows and frosting drizzle down through the cake. Because it is a rich cake I cut it into smaller pieces and froze the extra for a later time. Thanks Paula for your version of MMC.
