I hate giving bad reviews, but I made this recipe exactly as stated and it was so bitter from the lemon and orange peel that it was undrinkable. She just made it look so good on the show we had to try it. My house smells good though :

The combination of these flavors is delicious. If the citrus effects the sweetnes of the drink, use 1/3 of a box of brown sugar in the cider. I found the peel of the citrus made the cider bitter. My suggestion is to peel then slice the citrus.
