These cakes were absolutely heavenly! I made mine in a cupcake/muffin pan and baked for 9 minutes and they turned out perfect!

I followed the recipe exactly and they turned out like hockey pucs. They tasted real good but we had to add a lot of ice cream.
Should I leave them in the oven for a lesser time like about 12 minutes?
The recipe didn't say whether to cool them before inverting them or to invert immediately. I left them in the custard cups till they were comfortable to handle..

Paula. . . This was the absolute BEST dessert I've ever had!!!! The chocolate cake was delicious and the hot oozy center was to die for. Of course, a little of your whipped cream on top was the piece de resistance. I made it for my boyfriend yesterday, and I think he loves me even more now!
It's a keeper!
Thanks.

It is a great desert. I add ice cream and fruit Or any desert toppings or even rasberry liquor! YUM
It is easy and quick.
I have used popover pans and large muffin pans and both have worked well.

The flavor was delicious and I thought I followed the recipe to the letter, but the inside was fudgy, not runny. Will shorten bake time a bit. Served with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream. Great dessert even as it was.

I did this for the first time for a dinner party of 10. I doubled the recipe, but was short on bittersweet chocolate so used two Hershey bars to make up the shortage. I didn't have orange liqueur so used vanilla and water. I didnt have enough ramekins so I used muffin tins. I cooked them for about 10 minutes. They miraculously came out fabulous. Big hit! Can't wait to try this with all the corect ingredients.
