So simple - only one dirty mixing bowl! I am pregnant and was craving something rich and chocolatey, and this was perfect. I decided, spur-of-the moment, to make this and had all the ingredients on hand. The next time we have dinner guests, this will definitely be my dessert - it's easy, cheap & elegant! It was perfect 5-minutes out of the oven.

I followed the directions exactly and only came out with a batch of brownies. There was no gooey lava in the middle. Very disappointing.

As with most baked goods, you need to add salt to balance your sweet ingredients. This needed about 1/2 tsp. I also added sugar on top prior to baking and it had a yummy crispy sweet top that cracked to perfection!

After watching this on the show, I could not get it out of my mind to try. I was going to make some chocolate souffles today, but gave this a shot. I am not a fan of orange chocolate so I did not use the orange, but added 1/2TB of vanilla and added 1tb of water.
I can't wait to have some guests over to make this again, even my super picky 4 year old would not stop eating it!
if anyone wants a easy and quick treat to make you a star, this is for you.

My family and I really liked this cake. I cooked mine about 2 minutes less, so it was more moist (the cake part. I cut fresh strawberry's and placed on top, I'm not sure what the fluffy chocolate stuff is on the cake in the picture, this was not on the recipie. Overall, very good and very very easy to make!!
