If you love chocolate you will love this recipe! I made this for my 4yr old daughters birthday. It was great! My family really enjoyed them!

My chocoholic son loved these cakes. I used chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet baking chocolate because I was lazy and didn't want to go back to the store. I didn't think they were chocolately enough. I will try it again with baking chocolate to see if I can get the rich chocolate taste the other reviewers talk about. It was very good though. A definite keeper. I used Grand Marnier for the orange liqueur.

I'm curious to know what everyone used for orange liquer. I haven't made the recipe yet, but went to the store to buy orange liquer and found a large bottle for $21 that looked a lot like orange soda without the fizz. Are others using Grand Marnier, Triple Sec, orange schnapps?

I only had 4 ramekins so I baked the rest of the batter in a small pyrex dish. This produced very fudgy brownies which were a hit a the office. However, you have to love chocalate otherwise it may be overwhelming. Overall I loved it and would make again.

I have died and gone to chocolate heaven! Not only was this recipe easy enough for the kids to help, and they will gobble every bit of this gooey delight. I don't think this recipe could get any better.

Tried the recipes several time and still didn't get the "lava" consistency and the taste is only okay.

These were so easy to make and tasted delicious. They could have been a bit sweeter though. Maybe next time I'll swap out the chocolate for more semi-sweet.

Great tasting recipe, but not sure what went on with the consistency of the chocolate in the double boiler. Probably something I did (or didn't do. Also, I didn't have the lil' dishes to cook the cakes in so I made them in cupcake tins. I cooked them for 7 minutes which was too long so the inside wasn't gooey. :( But they were FABULOUS taste wise! Still a hit with the family.
