We were good all week, so we thoroughly enjoyed this simple, tasty, and economical treat! The bananas and nuts are such a great pair, and somehow I feel just a little better serving a dessert with a smidge of nutritional value.

This is so simple to make and definitely tastes like something my mom or grandmother would make. it wasn't quite elegant enough for my husband, but my son and I love it!

You could make this in your sleep it's so easy, and YUMMY. I love easy. But don't like Oreos, so I used Nilla wafers instead, just lightly broken, not pulverized. I'm going to use another reviewer's suggestion and try this with strawberries. Thanks Paula!

First,I have to tell you that I believe Paula Deen is the sweetest lady and I mean that in every way. That being said, this dessert has just about all my favorite things:bananas,Oreos, chocolate syrple, ice cream, whipped cream...you get the idea, and with a prep time of less than 15 minutes, you have no excuse not to make this instead of grabbing a prepackaged snack cake!
