Enjoyed preparing this for a group. The group really enjoyed and requested the recipe. Real whipped cream makes this recipe excellent. I would recommend not using over ripe bananas.

I absolutely recommend this easy delicious dessert for everyone! I was afraid that it would be so heavy or my family won't find it tasty, but I shocked with the feedbacks! They found it very nice. It's so simple and doesn't take time or effort. In fact, I added 2 more ingredients that are vanilla extract and a packet of Dream Whip to the liquid whipping cream. It was taste like an ice cream. You can also adjust the amount of sugar or use another kind of nuts like walnut.

I thought this was only "okay". It was tasted very heavy and sweet. I'm deathly allergic to pecans so I didn't add any nuts. However, I don't know if this would have made a huge difference.

Firstly, make sure you have a mixer of some sort to whip the sugar and whipping cream...started to take FOREVER, until I finally pulled out my hand mixer. My first impression of this dish was not satisfying at all. The oreo's were so crunchy (obviously that they overpowered the dish and you couldnt taste or really enjoy the bananas. I decided to give it a night in the fridge...and let me tell you...it was DELICIOUS the next day!! This tasted more like a "Banana Desert" cookies were soft and didn't overpower the soft bananas. I will definitely make this dish again, but will prepare it the night before!! YUMMY!!
