Excellent. I never ate cranberry sause before because it was too tart. OMG..this was so good. I am making it for Thanksgiving. I did add 2 tablespoons of powedered sugar in a bag and crushed the pecans.

read this tip on the zaar...pat the slices dry with a paper towel to spread the cream more easily...
i liked it...the creaminess was nice...
if you don't like cranberry sauce to start with, you probably won't like it, but i love the tartness and this was a nice contrast to it...
won't make it every year, but it was a nice change!
(candied pecans probably would have been good too

This was just the sort of thing I was looking for for Thanksgiving. Simple to make but fit for a major meal. All five of us who tried it just loved it. Delicious!

A definite delicious twist to cranberry sauce, I did not try it with the pecans but the cream cheese-mayo filling definitely compliments the cranberry sauce. Make sure to refrigerate the sandwiches until you are ready to eat them.

I've been using Mrs' Hoggles stuffed cranberry sauce for the past 4 years. Everybody always asks to make sure it's on the table at Thanksgiving. The only change I made was I use sweetened pecans in the recipe. It seems to kick it up a little and I also use this recipe when we make paninni sandwiches. It makes a great spread in the sandwich.
