...but not in a bad way! It was my own fault because I refridgerated it before I served it. : The texture of the hardened cream cheese with the soft cranberry sauce did not work. I must say that the combination had me curious though. What I did next was ground-breaking (just kidding. But it was good: I mashed up 1 can of cranberry suace with whole berries and spread it in the bottom of a small caserole dish. I then spread my layer of cream cheese mixture on top of that. THEN I spread on top of that another layer of cranberry. This made a fabulous layer dip for crackers and corn chips for the rest of the week.

This recipe is very different from the normal everyday cranberry. You still open up a can jellied cranberry, but make an almost dessert cranberry sandwich. Rich and Yummy !!!

My sister and I tried this at Thanksgiving, didn't really think this combo should be put together. We couldn't eat it.

I saw this recipe on Paula's show and just had to try it for our Thanksgiving dinner. It is so good! The combination of cranberry and cream cheese filling is TO DIE FOR! Even my picky 3 year old daughter liked it. I plan on making this a lot (holiday or no holiday.
