Have made this pie several times and it's always been a hit. Easy, tasty, and not just the same old pecan pie. Thanks Paula!

I have made this pie many times - according to the directions given and it has always been excellent. In fact, I will be bringing it tomorrow to our comapny feast.

This pie was a total hit last year at Thanksgiving, so much so that my family insisted I make it again for Christmas. I just hunted it down again so I won't disappoint anyone by not making it for Thanksgiving this year. I want to be sure not to lose it so, in case I can't find my hard copy some year, I just found it on the Food Network and dropped it in my Recipe Box. Wonderful...simply wonderful

This was the best pecan pie I had ever tasted. I made it last year for Thanksgiving and Christmas. My sister doesn't like sweet things and was reluctant to taste it, and she loved it as well. I did increase the cooking time by 15 to 20 minutes, and after putting the filling in I froze it for about 20 minutes to set it up a little. This will be made at all of our holiday gatherings from now on.

I made this recipe a few years ago for Thanksgiving. It received rave reviews from family and friends. It has become a must have for all the holidays. Very easy to make.

I should have read the reviews first. My pie started out perfect but it kept rising like a balloon. Then it fell flat after I took it out of the oven. Didn't know I was making a souffle. Tasted ok though.

I have tried this receipe, following directions to the "letter".
I am very disappointed, the only 'mystery' is when the pie is done...there are no notes as how to tell when the pie has reached completion.

I wish Paula would have given credit to Mary McClain, Pillsbury bake-off winner from 1964. I used this exact same recipe off the Pillsbury website! It was very well-received at our Thanksgiving potluck. I froze the pie before adding the final layer, but it still didn't quite look like the pictures. However, one person from the South said it was the best pecan she had in her whole life.

I made this recipe exactly as written, and it was perfect. I served it for Christmas dinner, and it won raves! I've received many requests for this pie again next year. It is a definite keeper and will be added to my traditional holiday recipes.
