I baked it for 45 minutes, checked on it and saw it wasn't close to being set.
Baked it for 15 minutes more at 325 and that took care of that. It tastes good, not spectacular. Other reviewers have written about it being a gooey mess. I used an electric mixer for the pie filling and the topping and didn't have a problem. The recipe just says to combine the ingredients. They should be mixed until well blended.

This Pie is Great. I am used to making Traditional Pecan Pie that can take up to 45 minutes to mix and get ready for the 45 minute baking process. This literally takes the 15 minutes it takes and it is the best of both worlds. Pecan Pie and Cream Cheese.
What is nice about this recipe is the no butter needed and there might be a high level of Corn Syrup but you can mess with the amounts to suit you.
Great Favor and great to look at.
Thanks, Paula Deen

If you like pecan pie and cheesecake then this is the dessert for you! It's really the best of both worlds. I would suggest that you do not serve this pie at room temperature as suggested in the recipe. Simply refrigerate it after it has cooled completely to prevent any running which some reviewers have mentioned. Think about it....you wouldn't leave a cheesecake out 24/7, would you? Having baked many a pecan pie in the past I can also tell you to let the top of crust crack all over before taking it out of the oven. This will prevent any possible running as well. Do NOT freeze the cream cheese mixture as some have mentioned here! When baking a cheesecake you want all your ingredients at room temperature. Paula did NOT freeze anything in this recipe prior to baking it. Keeping all these things in mind I had no problems whatsoever making this delicious pie. Go for it!

For those who love pecan pie, try this. Very easy to make and wonderfully different than the old traditional pecan pie.

This pie came out perfect!!! It tasted wonderful and was so easy to make. The pie was a cross between cheescake and pecan pie. It was a big hit. Another great one Paula. THANKS!!!
