    I prepared this great pecan pie and followed the 45 minutes baking time. When it was finished I took it out of the oven and it was very runny. I put it back in for another 20 minutes and it was perfectly set. My husband is so-so when it comes to pecan pie but he loved this one!

    My family really liked this pecan pie. I did have to bake the pie for 65 min. Let it cool some before you slice...about 30 minutes.

    I made this recipe and it came out awful. I was so dissapointed. It was runny and my cream cheese mixture was nasty looking when it baked. It looked like Ricotta Cheese. I ended up pouring out the runny mess in the middle to save the pie, but my husband wouldn't touch it. This was a big waste of time and money.

    Made the pie today, came out of the oven golden brown but after it cooled about ten hours. I cut the first piece and it was so runny it didn't look very appetising then? No mention in the instructions about baking longer over covering the pastry edges to keep from burning?

    For the previous person, you might have to bake the pie longer than 45 minutes. I had to bake mine for an hour, temperatures on ovend vary. Make sure that the pie isn't too jiggly when you take it out because it might not be ready.

    Fabulous pie and I make my own crust from scratch. Delicious!

    The pie looked so good and I went to the store to get what I didn't have to make it. Well when the pie cooled off it was still runny like the egg mixture did not cook and I followed the directions to the t. Any advise from anyone that has made it?

    This pie comes out perfect!!! Everyone will love it!! I made it last night for a party and now I have to cook it for Thanksgiving!! Paula truly has WONDERFUL Pies!!!
