This was an indeed fabulous tasting dish. I upgraded it just a bit for the 4th of July by decorating the top with the Strawberry/Blueberry flag garnish I also saw on Foodnetwork TV and served it at a church function. There wasn't a drop of it left in the pan when I went for dessert. Guess I'll need to go to the dessert table first next time. TIP: Beware, with the added topping garnish along with all the other ingredients included in the recipe, it can be a bit expensive to make; but I'll bet it would bring a right fair price in a bake sale auction.

My family gobbled this up like there was no tomorrow! It's creamy, light and delicious. The prep wasn't hard at all, and it was a quick cool dessert for summer!

The pudding was great and easy to make. I made a little change to it, I used 2 small boxes of sugar free pudding with 3 cups of milk. I thought it turned out great. Some times when I make banana pudding I use cinnamon-honey gram crackers insted of cookies but the chessmen make it look a lot prettier.
