Amazing meatloaf! So easy, and the oats really do give it a light texture. We do add some garlic, and worcestershire sauce. Its great! Also instead of yellow mustard I used dijon, but thats really up to what you like best :

Perfection!!! So simple and so easy to make. I did a few adjustments...namely replaced the oatmeal with panko bread crumbs (not to defy Ms. Deen it's just the fact that I ran out of oatmeal and I also added a couple of tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce. The aroma of the mixed meats, veggies and spices was intoxicating! Oh! For the topping...I used ketchup, brown sugar but instead of plain ol' mustard, I used German mustard. Minor adjustments but I made it my own. Splendid!

I have NEVER written a review before, but this one needed my "written" approval! WOW! Amazing taste, amazingly easy, and I will definitely be making this again. I changed and added a few things based on the reviews I read before making this. Exchanged oats for italian bread crumbs, added a couple of cloves of minced garlic, a few splashes of worcestershire sauce...simply delicious!!

Wonderful recipe! And such helpful reviews! OK, now I'll admit I am incapable of following a recipe completely. I doubled the recipe, using 2 lbs of grass-fed ground beef, about 2 cups of stale bread crumbs, a 14.5 oz can of stewed tomatoes, chopped (I didn't put all of the juice in, a cup of finely shredded cabbage, a couple of shakes of Worcestershire and yellow bell pepper instead of green. Otherwise, I followed the recipe, although I decreased the oven to 325, made 3 loaves and baked them on top of small, halved red potatoes for about 70 minutes. Definitely the moistest meatloaf I have ever made!

I followed the recipe exactly. My husband and I didn't like the gelatinous texture of the oatmeal. Felt a bit gooey in our mouths. It was super easy to make but I prefer other versions of meat loaf.

I used ground turkey, drained the tomatoes, and used bread crumbs instead of the oats. It was still a little bit too juicy, but the flavor was really good. I'll definitely make this again, probably increase the bread crumbs and see if that will thicken it a little
