I used ground turkey, drained the tomatoes, and used bread crumbs instead of the oats. It was still a little bit too juicy, but the flavor was really good. I'll definitely make this again, probably increase the bread crumbs and see if that will thicken it a little

This meatloaf was great. I wasn't sure about using quick cook oats (never have before but tried it and you couldn't tell. It was super juicy and fall apart goodness. Next time I might skip adding the juice from the can. It made it a little too juicy. My boyfriend said the topping was too sweet, but I loved it. I will definately make this again.

I made meatloaf for the first time using this recipe, and it came out great. I did make a few changes after reading some of the comments -- used Italian bread crumbs instead of the rolled oats, drained the tomatoes, added a few dashes of Worchestershire sauce to both the meat mixture and topping. Also, I used a ground beef, pork and veal mixture. I did think the recipe called for a bit too much salt for my taste and next time I will cut back, but overall the meatloaf turned out great and was very moist.

Fabulous!! Twenty-five minutes left and the kids were chomping at the bit wanting to know when dinner would be ready.
Just took it out, cut a slice and it is perfectly cooked, sweet smelling and super moist. I would like to say that there would be no way we will have any left over, but fortunately for ME... I doubled the recipe and then some!
Thanks Paula again for anew favorite bookmark!

This is the best meatloaf I have ever ate. Growing up I never liked meatloaf but this one will change the way you think about meatloaf. I have fixed it for several event, funerals, church gatherings and my pan comes back empty everytime. Thanks Paula for a good meatloaf recipe.

This recipe was so easy to make. The meat loaf was delicious, and everyone loved it. It's a definite keeper. We ended up doubling topping so that there was no fighting for sauce! Thanks Paula! We love you from Boston.
