Didn't have a green pepper so I used red .. Added garlic to the meat and a dash of worchestershire to the sauce. Excellent recipe!

I made this last night for my family and it was ...AMAZING !!!!
we also added 2 Garlic Cloves, 2 Table spoons of chopped Jalapeno, AND fire roasted tomatoes ( we like spicy food we also replaced the Ketchup for Chipotle BBQ ... I made half with Ketchup and the other half with BBQ but the BBQ was so much better ..... I wrapped it with bacon strips ! It was GREAT !!!

I made this meatloaf the other night and it was a big hit! I did add a couple things....a couple cloves of garlic, some chopped fresh parsley, and about a 1/2 c of chopped bacon that was left over from the previous nights dinner of BLT's. All of these only added to the end result, especially the bacon (really added a nice depth of flavor - who doesn't love bacon!! Next time I will make them in muffin tins to make for an easy addition to school and work lunches!

I am by no means a Paula Deen but for my 7 year old to tell me I make the best meatloaf ever just makes my day! I am glad I found this recipe.

I have never liked meatloaf, but my husband adores it. So, I decided to use this recipe to make meatloaf for the first time. It was juicy and delicious. He says it's better than his mom's recipe. It was very simple to make. I used red bell pepper and it was wonderful! And very pretty too. I will use this recipe forever!

I did not alter this recipe in any way and it was outstanding! Might be the best meatloaf I have ever eaten.
