This is the BEST meatloaf recipe out there. My younger brother has always hated meatloaf until he tried this one...now he always wants me to make it..instead of the tomatoes I use ketup..because I do not like the texture of tomatoes...I always double this for leftovers...

This recipe turned out great. I used ground turkey, bread crumbs and cut up a tomato and some onion. It was so easy and tasty, the meatloaf was moist and stayed together. Thanks Paula, I'll make this again :

This meatloaf was sooooooo good! I don't usually try to cook meatloaf because it comes out dry & bland but this was quite the opposite! I like my food to be well seasoned so I added garlic & onion powder, and steak seasoning. I also used flax seed & breadcrumbs instead of the oats. The topping was so perfect! I'll definitely be making this one again!

I've tried this recipe twice, both times sticking to the measurements precisely. The first time, it came out perfect. The second time, it tasted great but was very soggy. I still give it five stars for taste. My husband doesn't want his mother to find out that he's finally eating meatloaf after complaining about hers for his entire childhood :oP

Amazing! I skipped the green peppers and it was just fantastic. A little wet but so freaking tasty. I will gladly make this again.

the only thing I would keep is the topping. You need to cook the onions prior and the meatloaf has little to no flavor. Takes well over an hour to cook unless you like it raw... Will nevr make this again!

This is a very basic meatloaf. Nothing special and I won't make it again.

I'm very new at cooking and this was so simple and delicious! Ended up making two so I could have meat loaf sandwiches. And I added some fresh garlic as well. ( I had an abundance of it
    Will make again.(:

Don't be deceived by the "AKA basic meatloaf" in the title! You can't lose with this winner. Forget all the other recipes for meatloaf that take numerous ingredients and time. This one is yummy!

Oh my goodness stop the presses!!! This recipe is a WINNER... moist, flavorful... the meatloaf I have been searching for years to find. So simple and easy! To make it a bit more lean I used 93% ground beef and ground turkey and it came out stellar. This will be my recipe from now on.
