I tripled this recipe (made 3 loaves for a potluck. Not only was this recipe easy, it was absolutely delicious. It really is your basic meatloaf, but a tasty one. As for the few who said that it was "bland," something must've been left out maybe? My family is very southern and big on southern dishes so I can definitely say that this meatloaf is full of flavor. This meatloaf was a hit at the potluck! Thanks Paula!!

My first meat loaf and it was easy. How long should you let it cool when removing from the oven.

The taste was delicious. I found it great. However, my family ate it and said it was good but the second time I said I was going to make it they told me not to make it. They didn't like the glaze. They said it was a little too much. It did have too many flavors going on...so it wasn't something I would do again. Unless I was making it to freeze slice by slice for myself.

My husband gave this meatloaf a 10. He rarely gives anything a 10. It's good enough to make for company and super easy to boot! Love it!

This recipe was so awesome! I substituted ground turkey for the beef, and pulsed my peppers and onions and oats in a food processor for a smoother consitency. Turned out so great! The sauce on top is the best :

A good meatloaf, but it fell apart really easily Next time I will add a binder such as 1/4 cup plain bread crumbs Also will carmelize onions before adding to meat mix. If you can get in your area saute veggies in duck fat. . . adds such a deep flavor Im also going to experiment with mini bread pans so they can be sent for lunches Not sure what bake time will be yet Will update with info after I test it

This was my first successful meatloaf!!! I baked it for only about 45 minutes because I made it into a low-dome free form loaf without a pan. I used a cookie sheet instead and surrounded the meatloaf with frozen french fries. They baked in the juices from the beef, and everything came out perfectly!! Thank you, Paula!!! Even the teenagers complimented your recipe!

Super easy... I substituted the tomatoes with marinara since it's all i had and it turned out fabulous! Very juicy and flavorful. I will be using the leftovers for meat that will go with the spaghetti sauce tonight! Great simple recipe...
