I tried this recipe for Christmas and it was a hit with my family. The only change I made was that I substituted the milk for evaporated milk and the pie turned out perfect. I will use this recipe again.

This recipe was good, and I made a pretty simple variation that I liked better. Maybe you will too.

1 Replace the sugar in the pie with brown sugar.
2 Replace the milk with heavy cream.
    3 Add one more egg.
    4 Double the cinnamon.
5 Replace the ginger with nutmeg.

We've tried lots and lots of sweet potatoe pies, homemade and on rare occasions from stores, and this was by far the easiest and best sweet potatoe pie ever.

This was so easy to make and it was delicious. Every year I have to make a pumpkin pie for my wife even though I hate pumpkin pie. I love this pie and my wife said she likes it better than pumpkin. What a bonus!

Paula you did it, simple, easy, quick, and the flavor was the best. I did cheat by not having the topping but I will drop the pumpkin pie and add more SWEET POTATO PIE to the table treats.
    Thanks , Doug

This is a great recipe. Try adding 3 tablespoons on juice concentrate to batter and a half cup of chopped pecans on top.
    Fabulous.
