    This is the best sweet potato pie I have ever had. I did put 2 tbs. of bourbon in it. I was afraid it might be to much but it was perfect. Paula Deen you did it again

    LAST YEAR I USED YOUR RECIPE FOR SWEET POTATO PIE. I USED SPLENDA FOR THE SECOND PIE AS MY UNCLE IS A DIABETIC, NEEDLESS TO SAY HE WOULD NOT SHARE HIS PIE WITH THE REST OF US. MY SISTER WILL BE JOINING US THIS YEAR AND OUR FAVORITE THING IS TO HAVE THE LEFTOVER PIE FOR BREAKFAST THE NEXT DAY. SO I GUESS I'LL HAVE TO MAKE THREE THIS TIME. MY GRANDMA IS NO LONGER WITH US AND THIS IS JUST ABOUT AS CLOSE TO HER RECIPE AS WE'LL EVER GET. THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR GREAT RECIPES WITH US.

    This pie is great. It's not too sweet and was perfect after a meal because it is so light and yet full of flavor. This is a great, and yet simple, recipe. I served it with whipped cream topped with nutmeg.

    I dont even like sweet potatoes but I ate this pie. I really loved this recipe and so did the rest of my family.
