My husband loved this recipe. I make a pretty good pie but wanted to make it better, this recipe was just what I needed, friends have asked for pies and my family went wild. My mother asked for the recipe. A winner

This was the most delicious pie! I have now made it THREE times and each time I have made it differently. I only cooked it an hour and left out ginger on the first two tries. Third pie turned out soooo good I actually cooked it according to the recipe even cooking it for an hour and 55 minutes like Paula said too. I thought I was going to burn it but, it only browned nicely. The difference that cooking it that extra hour made was huge, it had a nice chewy top, and I have found it taste even better if you let it cool down and set a bit. I did add whip cream as well on the last instead of meringue.

This is the first time I tried making sweet potato pie and I was so easy. It tasted great, everyone loved it.

After following the recipe, the pie turned out good but much too sweet for my taste. My husband found out after a few slices that the pie didn't agree with him either. Needless to say he asked me not to make it again.

Great recipe! I received critical acclaim when I brough it to Thanksgiving. In the future I'd put in less Sweet Potatoe and a touch more cinnamon. I also left the merangue off of the second pie and it seemed to be favored more. You need to try this recipe!

I grew up in the south and sweet potato pie was a way of life. I have tried making it before and it never seemed to turn out. This was easy to make and tasted delicious. My family is a huge fan of pumpkin pie, but after having Paula's Sweet Potato Pie, I doubt I will ever make a canned pumpkin pie again!

The pie was beautiful to look at (I didn't use meringue since I'm not a fan and easy, easy. The flavor is so much richer than pumpkin pie that I don't see any reason to make pumpkin pie next year. It's delicious, I loved it and I'll make it again next Thanksgiving.
