This was the first sweet potato pie I ever made and it was delicious! Everyone loved it!! I used skim milk and splenda to make it diabetic friendly.... Nobody knew the difference. I did have to bake it 65 minutes until the knife came out clean. Will definately make this one again! Thank You Paula!!

This was a beautiful pie. It took 70 minutes to cook, much longer than instructed, which I questioned not cooking the usual 425 for 15 minutes then down to 350 for 35-40 minutes (standard time for a pie. After it cooled, and I cut into it, it fell apart. I compared it to other sweet potato pie recipes and this one seems to have too much milk. I think sweeten condensed milk would have been better.

I made this last nite and it was a hit with the family. I didn't get around to making the meringue, but it was great without it.

For the second time making sweet potatoe pie, this recipe is a lot better than the first. From this day forward, I'll be using this recipe.

For the recipe it was good. Did like the meringue on top so will continue every once in a while that part of the recipe when making my traditional pie that was passed down and taught to me. My friends and family thought it was store brought since it was not like my usual. But another Good recipe Paula.

i'm eating it now and the first 2 bites....i thought it was great and now i just think it's good. i wish that it had more spices in it- maybe a little bit of nutmeg and cloves. i used emerils crust recipe....not all that (it's a bit hard and not flaky at all. i should've just used anne burrell's crust recipe (my favorite thus far. so anyways, i had to bake my pie for A HECK OF A LOT LONGER than what was recommended....like by another 30 minutes. i guess i'm more into pumpkin pie than i am sweet potato but this is a nice recipe. thanks paula!

OMG!!! This the first time i've had true success making a sweet potatoe pie, in fact my husband says it's one of the Best he's tasted. There were a couple of things I changed to this recipe... I used two large sweet potatoes, once they were peeled and smashed, there was more than two cups I found that I had more than enough to make one pie so I made two, I adjusted the recipe a little by adding a little more ginger and cinnamon I also added 1/8 tsp of nutmeg.
One last thing the recipe doesn't tell you how you should cook the sweet potatoes so I baked them like I would a regular potatoe. This is one recipe I would strongly recommend to all Very Easy! Thanks Paula
