I have made this pie over and over again. There are no functions that I have attended that I wasn't asked to make this pie. My husband is a vegan and I have substituted everything to fit his needs and everyone enjoys iit just as much. No one ever knows the difference. Simply Delicious!

This is the first recipe of Paula's that I did not like. I don't know if it was the milk or the lack of enough eggs, but the pie was soupy even after baking for more than 3 hours....won't ever use this one again!!

I love this recipe! Makes the perfect sweet potato pie! I personally don't like meringue so I leave that part out, but the rest is great!

as usual your recipe is great thank you. I have a angel wish from children in our area who are involved in Special psorts for children with handicap. They want to go to see Miley Sirus and I was thinking if you could do a benifit show at one of their Baseball games to help collect donations for this wish to come true. You have to see these children it is the most fabulous thing you will ever have the pleasure to see.. Tammy Kriebel Grandmother of a gift from god with Downs 480-710-6731

I don't like meringue, so I left it off, but you really don't need it. The pie itself was wonderful. I didn't measure out 2 cups of sweet potato, I just used 2 healthy sized potatoes. I had enough filling to make either 2 regular pies or 1 deep dish pie. You'll have filling left over if you go with the one deep dish pie and it takes an additional half hour to cook. I've made this recipe 4 times now and I like to make 2 pies and just give one away. I also made the pie using bourbon and then tried it with the vanilla and everyone likes the extra depth and warmth the bourbon gives the pie.
All in all, this pie is a keeper.
It's very good!!!

This pie was easy to make - 1 bowl prep. & came together in minutes. I baked the sweet potatoes & scooped them right out of the skin. The texture is wonderful - light, creamy & delicate.
For those north of the Mason-Dixon Line, don't be afraid to try it! A nice departure from the typical Yankee pumpkin or squash pie.

i made 2 pies for thanksgiving. they were so, so good! the only thing is i added a 1/2cup more sugar cause i like it a little more sweet, and i baked them for about an hour instead of 45 min. i will definitely continue using this recipe for all holidays, or if i just have a taste for a pie. thanks paula!!

I have very picky children but everyone really loved the pie! I made 2 pies one with meringue and one without. The meringue won. Will make again. I love the part that it was 'easy' to make. Thanks!
