First cake roll I ever attempted. Important to do the egg steps correctly. First one I rusted adding sugar to the yokes. Turned out, but a little ruff. Second one was a beautiful thing.
I also added 2 1/2 tsp of orange extract instead of vanilla to make a cranberry orange roll.
Tasted great! Thanks Paula

First time using this website recipes. I just finished, and it is the WORST recipe I have ever tried. It is easy but the taste was horrible that it went to the trash can. : /

Very flavorful and easy to make. I made this at Easter and family gobbled it down.

My cake did not turn out very fluffy... I probably did not fold the eggs in very gently, but overall it turned out great!

It was VERY good! Definitely my favorite jelly roll recipe. But I did substitute Strawberry glaze and whipped up nutriwhip for the filling instead of the jam or jelly!

On my second attmpt AT THE CORRECT TEMP, I have successfully reached the rolled up in the tea towel stage. I think it will be fine. Looking forward to the end results! My first try was at 350 for some crazy reason. I think half the errors on some recipes are b/c we misread.
