This beef stew, served over the potato casserole, is absolutely divine. I spent a lot of time in the kitchen doing prep, but the look on my husband's face after his first bite made it all worth while! I was confused about serving it over the potato casserole, but now can't imagine it any other way! A must try!!

This is an excellent dish and will be great next time with my mothers baking powder biscuits on top.

I tried this the same night I saw the recipe and it was as good as it appeared to be on TV. The ingredients were simple and made for a great combination of flavors. I fed 6 adults with some to spare. The meat was tender and the broth was excellent. I added a splash of soy sauce which made for a good addition. I will definitely make this again.

Broth had nice color and texture ,warm taste due to spice, preparation was easy. I made this yesterday and it was the best beef stew recipe I have made. Thank you Paula.

It doesn't get much easier than this. Over egg noodles just like when I was a kid worked once again! Nice flavors.

Paula has done it again. I tried the Beef Stew Recipe w/ my family of 4 and everyone loved it. You could see the carrots and celery and the beef tasted so good. It was tender to the taste. Thank you!

simply mouthwatering, beef stew is an all time favorite, but this recipe is unique in flavor, the whole family enjoyed it very much and came back for seconds. Also, watching Paula Dean just makes everything look so easy to do...and it was a very simple and belly filling meal to make. Just knowing everyone is enjoying your meal makes it all the better.
