This is an excellent fudge recipe - just like at the state fair. The tip to use the mixer is good.

Saw this show and making of this fudge, I,m not good at making fudge, so I went in the kitchen and made it, What's the matter with me, didn't come out like it suppose to, Again we had to eat it with a spoon. Any advice ?

I made Pauls's fudge recipe this weekend and it is exactly like the old timey fudge my Mom made when we were kids. She made it every Christmas and my oldest brother called it One Piece an Hour fudge because it was so rich and sweet, you could only take one piece an hour! I got all teary eyed when I first tasted it. It is wonderful/heavenly!

This was the perfect recipe for me to share with my nine year-old daughter so that i could let her experience one of the dishes i grew up eating.Hey, we both enjoyed making it and most certainly devouring it. THANK YOU, PAULA!!!

I was watching this on Saturday morning, and my husband walked into the room and said that looks like what his mama used to make, he watched a little longer then said, Honey, write this one down, looks just like the same thing I had as a child. Well...
made it....he loved it. Said it reminded him of his childhood. His mom past away before I met him, so I wasn't able to get recipe from her. Thank You Soooo Very Much.
