My niece brought these to a large family gathering and everyone went crazy over them. They reminded us of our mother's orange cookies from many years ago. I had to find this recipe to try myself. Love you Paula Deen. I have all your cookbooks!

Our family did not care for this. First bite seemed ok, but it was way too sweet and I love sweets. Love Paula but not this recipe.

Wow, these are so good. If you are want something different from chocolate sweets or other typical things, this is such a refreshing change! It is unbelievably delicious. I'm going to make them once a week. And I LOVE Paula Dean!!

One of my very favorite recipes and real popular with friends and family. I make up several and give as gifts for birthdays,
christmas etc. Travels and freezes well. Quick and easy is always popular in my house hold.

omg. i have been on the hunt for this recipe for months, with no luck (was in a mag that i'd lost. sooo, happy to find it. it is so versatile. the first time i made it, i used lemon instead, with lemon juice since i had no extract. everyone loved it. the next time i added blueberries with the lemon..awesome. baked it as recipe was originally..great. then made one more time with lime, used almond extract instead, added some toasted slivered almonds to the top.
the texture is about like a glazed cake donuts. heavenly

Was great recipe just as written. Very rich and more of a creme cake type texture than brownie, but it was still super moist and tasty. Going to try it with some other flavorings as some others have suggested.

This is one of my husband's favorite desserts ever...he requests it constantly! I almost always up the amounts of orange called for (zest or juice and I don't like artificial flavoring, so I replace the orange extract with real orange juice. And I agree with others, this really is more like a cake, but that doesn't bother me...it is one yummy treat!

These are amazing! I'm a little surprised that reviewers keep saying this is more cake than brownie. Mine came out much denser than cake.

Delicious! Such a nice change from traditional brownie. The only thing I changed second time around was to multiply the glaze recipe by 1.5. I felt it needed just a bit more to cover it thoroughly. Definitely prefer this to the other version of this recipe on the FN website (with the frosting. The thin firm layer of glaze perfectly complements the rich brownie below. I think the frosting would be overkill.
