Great, I have made this several times and everyone loves them. The last time I cooked about 10 min longer and they worked better, make sure your pout the glaze on when still hot. I did not use orange extract just put about 2-3 TBLS of fresh squeezed orange juice in the batter and they were great.

This is not a brownie, but a super good cake. The texture and glaze reminded me of a donut. I also liked that it was simple so the only thing I didn't have in the pantry/fridge already was the orange extract.

These were delicious! My BF doesn't care for chocolate, so these were a fun dessert to make for him for his birthday. I was expecting them to be more brownie-like in texture though. I baked them until the tester was clean, but I couldn't cut them cleanly. They were too gooey and crumbly. You couldn't pick them up and eat them like a brownie. However, all we care about is how they taste, so that is good enough for me.

I couldn't wait to try them and I wasn't disappointed. Easy to prepare and outrageous orange flavor! They satisfy, no doubt.

Very easy and tasty. However, the proportion of confectioners sugar to orange juice makes a very thick glaze which does not pour. I added one addtional tablespoon of orange juice and the glaze was perfect.
Also, in order for the tester to come out "clean", I had to bake the brownies for an additional 15 minutes, and then they were a little dry.

Luv it! Very good and easy to make. The glaze is delicious and is very compatible with the brownie. Instead of making lots of small brownies I got a cupcake pan and made 7big brownies for the whole family. We all enjoyed it. It was indeed delicious and a perfect gathering desert to catch the attention of anyone.

Couldn't wait to try this recipe, however I always read the reviews first for helpful tips. I prefer chewy brownies and not as sugary sweet, so I decreased the eggs to 3 instead of 4, sugar to 1 1/2 cups and confectioners sugar to 3/4 cup. WOW!!! Even my "I like my brownies brown"' husband loved them! Much better chilled and the next day. I have been ordered to make these for our Christmas gathering.
Thank you Paula!!
