    Orange heaven!

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
What a delicious and easy recipe that pleases all especially after a curry or spicy meal! It neutralizes and cleanses the... palate as a delectable dessert. I too reduced the sugar content and added more orange zest and juice to the recipes to give it a richer orange flavor. This recipe made my boyfriend keep calling my full name in elation every single time he ate it! Thank you paula from barbadosRead more

Maybe this should be called an Orange Pound Cake

Rated: 4 stars out of 5
I made this recipe for Superbowl Sunday and refrigerated it overnight before serving. It's very good, light and refreshing. ... I agree with a number of the other cooks who said that "brownies" isn't the right term to describe this dessert. My husband thought it was more like pound cake than brownie,s and I agree. I used the full amount of sugar and butter in the recipe. I didn't have orange extract, so I used triple sec (orange flavored liquor) instead. I also creamed the butter and sugar first, then added the 4 eggs and beat the batter until it was creamy. Then I added the salt, orange zest, and liquor. Finally I folded in the flour.Read more

    Delectably Delicious Dessert

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
I made these for my Bible study group and they loved them. These are really easy to make and the only change I made was to... use undiluted concentrated orange juice in the frosting. This gave it a more "in your face" orange flavor which I prefer. Great recipe. Thanks PaulaRead more

    Fabulous & Moist

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
I made these for a pre-season football game; they disappeared and everyone wanted the recipe. I too used 1 1/2 cups of sugar... instead of 2 and after cutting them, put a manderin orange on each piece. Really cute. If you are running out of time, just use a can of cream cheese frosting and mix in some orange zest, still yummy. Read more

    OUT OF THIS WORLD Y'ALL!!!

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
I made these for my domino club ladies and they went nuts. Everyone wanted to take one home. For the frosting, I used one... stick of butter & 8 oz of cream cheese, a little more zest and some orange extract to bump up the orange flavor. I did make the brownies according to the recipe and they came out GREAT! The texture was out of this world y'all!!!Read more

    I love anything orange

Rated: 4 stars out of 5
The brownie part is great (even though I cut out 1/2 cup of sugar). And instead of using Paula's cream cheese frosting recipe... (which I thought would be waaaaaay too sweet when I watched the show), I used my traditional cream cheese frosting that I make for carrot cake and it was perfect! I just sprinkled some orange zest all over after I frosted it to give it the orange look for presentation and they were a big hit.Read more
