    These are killer brownies! Even better the next day! Although, I would cut the icing in half. Just too much icing for my taste. ;

    This recipe is great and so easy to make. My grand daughter (10 wanted to make these and I wasn't quiet ready so I had her start on her own. They are a combination of brownie, cake and fruit bar and a 10 year old can't mess it up!!

    This was yummy...but I wouldn't call it a brownie, it's more like a cake. So after reading the other reviews, I decreased the sugar in the batter to 1 3/4 cups and used 1 1/2 cups for the powdered sugar for the frosting. I used 2 teaspoons less in the frosting too to keep a thicker consistency. Other than that, I followed the recipe. It had the perfect sweetness and orangey flavor. It's something different and it tastes really good, fresh. Remember that if you are using a glass baking dish, decrease the oven temp to 325 degrees, thats what Paula said in her video.

    In a word AWESOME!!!!!!! I followed the recipe to the T except I added a tablespoon of zest just because I love orange flavor. They came out moist with chewy edges just like a regular brownie with great orange flavor. Yes the batter was thick but as in the previous post regular brownie mix is thick. I made a glaze instead 2 cups powder sugar 1/4 cup orange juice 2 tsp zest 1 tsp orange extract whisked together. I poked holes in the brownies and poured glaze over while they were warm then cut and served!!! These are fantastic and they will be a go to in my recipe collection. Thank you Paula!!!!

    Made these with a friend last night and they are absolutely DELICIOUS! Everyone was a bit skepitical, but they ended up loving them and eating just about the entire pan within the hour. It is thick, but brownie batter is supposed to be that thick. they were moist and cooked perfectly. We made the frosting more glaze like, and there's no need to make the entire batch, it'd be too much. All in all, it was amazing and a total do over!

    My guests enjoyed the brownies a lot but I thought the citrus flavor didn't come through enough, maybe if I followed the advice of other reviewers and cut back on the sugar and increased the amount of orange extract and zest, I would have enjoyed them even more.

    Wonderful recipe! I substituted lemon for the orange and wow! what flavor! It was a lot of work to zest them all but so worth it.

    Made these today to take to my brother's for Easter dinner. I was searching and searching for something easy and quick to make but yet tasty. I also didn't want chocolate, I wanted something more spring like. Found this recipe and decided to give it a try. I must say I was a bit reluctant due to the mixed reviews, but they are REALLY good. Also, for those of you saying the batter was too thick..have you made brownies before? usually the batter is thick. I added a touch of orange juice to the batter. It doesn't pour, so you will have to basically scoop it into the pan then smooth out. They come out tasting like a giant shortbread or sugar cookie. The frosting is a bit sweet so I added my powdered sugar a bit at a time until I got the flavor that I wanted. PERFECT! A great recipe for those of us who aren't huge chocolate fans and want something different than the standard brownie!

    Addictive! Loved by all. A perfect spring or summer dessert because it's so light....but once you've had it you won't survive winter without it.

    This was super tasty. I admit that I used 1/2 the sugar in both the 'brownie' and the orange cream cheese frosting. The flavor is superb! I did add vanilla extract to both, but even if i didn't add in my own '2 cents' worth of ingredients, it would still be wonderful. I should love to try this with white chocolate cream cheese frosting or even coconut. I am an avid home baker, I will keep this recipe in my 'quick & easy' recipe file. I am grateful to have found and tried it.
