The most perfect new brownie recipe I have tried. It all turned out perfectly. Shiney on top, chewy like the chocolate ones. The frosting is definetly in my permanent file. Left out 1 T of juice to have spreading frosting instead of glazey frosting. Either would be fine. Going to try mixing frosting with chocolate brownies and orange brownies with chocolate frosting and see what happens.Got to be good. Awesome recipe!!!Thanks Paula!

These are "to die for". I made them right after I saw Paula make them on TV and they were outstanding. I have since made them several times. They are rich, dense, moist and have a wonderful orange flavor. They have become a go to recipe for me when I am asked to bake for an event. Thanks Paula

Don't waste your time on this recipe. I made these for a party and I had much left over and threw it out. As another reviewer said, the batter was so thick I thought there must have been a mistake, so I added a couple of tablespoons of milk. Even so the batter was thick and the resultant cake was dry. I couldn't figure out why the batter was so dry..no milk, no water and I wasted 2 sticks of real butter on this. No one had seconds on this cake and not many people finished their piece and I can't blame them. The only reason it got 1 stars is because of the orange taste. Just wish this had worked out. The frosting was WAY too sweet. There are just too many good things out there to bake that I wouldn't waste my time on this recipe. Just add orange flavor to your regular chocolate brownie recipe if you want orange taste.

Just made these this afternoon after catching Paula make them on TV and omg they are delicious! I couldn't have just one piece tonight. I made it following Paula's recipe, but actually left out the extract as a mistake. Just enough orange for me though from the zest. Will make it correctly next time and am sure will be great. I agree that it's more cake and less "brownie" but that's great to me! Definitely give it a try - too easy and tasty to pass up!

I don't know what an orange brownie is supposed to taste like, but this one is clammy and lacks flavor. The frosting, OMG the frosting. Sweet fails to describe it. Very disappointed and I will not be making it again.

Yummy, buttery goodness! I made these today and they were a big hit. I modified the recipe based on the reviews by omitting 1/2 cup of sugar in the batter and making half of the frosting. This is a quick and easy dessert that I will make again. Excellent!
