Made this not too long ago and it turned out GREAT!!! So great my eyes rolled to the back of my head when I had my first taste. I didn't add the nuts because I'm not a fan of them, but even without, it still was amazing. I will definitely make again.

This coffee cake is wonderful ... and easy. I know I shouldn't change it because then I'm not really rating the recipe as shown. But I did change it. We're big fans of monkey bread around her so I treated as that with a spin. I used 1/2 to 3/4 cup granulated sugar. Then I zested at least a half an orange or more. I wasn't measuring. Look at it and taste it. If it tastes orangey, it's great. I left one whole biscuit roll in the middle and then cut the rest of the biscuits in quarters coating each piece (as well as the full biscuit in the middle with the orange sugar. Then I placed them in the pan, pointed-side up around the center biscuit. It kind of looked like a flower. I increased the butter to 1/2 stick, melted it and poured it over all the pieces. Then I chopped almonds very fine in the food processor and put them on top. I followed the rest of the recipe directions. When it came out, it had to stand for a few minutes to firm up like money bread.
Awesome!
