This recipe is well-balanced and very refreshing. I recently served at a party and the consensus was "thumbs up". It isn't too sweet yet has a delightful touch of sweetness to it. I always prepare the dressing in advance so the flavors can blend. I subsituted mandarin oranges which did not impact the success of the recipe, but saved me valuable preparation time.

I love this light, refreshing recipe. My son even eats his greens.

My husband and I are in love with this dressing........sorry Paula but this is my husband's Mimi's recipe!!! :
She makes it as her everyday salad dressing (sometimes putting a garlic clove in whole and has been since my husband was a child!
We love it!

We have had this salad twice at our Red Hat Chili Peppers' dinners and I'm sure we will see it many times again. A perfect balance of flavors and very easy, especially if you use bagged salad ingredients.

This salad and dressing was a big hit with my family and friends. I especially liked the dressing and bibb lettuce with the red onions. I have never used bibb lettuce before. Thanks, Paula.

The salad is fantastic and the dressing was such a nice relief from heavy sytle dressings.

I am German and was invited to a BBQ. I was supposed to bring a salad, so I decided to do that recipe. The bowl was empty within one hour!!!
