    Prepared this dressing for Thanksgiving to take to the in-laws. Everyone raved over the taste. I have already been commissioned to bring the dressing for Christmas. Thanks Paula.

    This is a very moist and delicious dressing...exactly like I remember my Aunt's oyster dressing. It definitely brought back a lot of precious memories of holidays past.
    If you like a dryer and stiffer dressing, then just hold back on some of the stock. But my preference is a moist dressing, so I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out perfect.

    I followed the recipe and my dressing turned out runny. We baked it fro over 1 1/2 hours and it still was mushy. I don't know what I did wrong. The flavor was good. I was very disappointed.
