This was very good. I went easy on the seasoning for the pork so I could adjust at the end and was perfect. Received rave review from the man friend! :

THE LADY AND SONS HOUSE SEASONING IS THE ONLY THING THAT CONTAINS THE SALT, IT IS NOTHING MORE THAN 4 SPICES MIXED TOGETHER AND PUT IN A SHAKER TO USE ON WHAT EVER YOU CHOOSE.IT IS TO BE USED FOR TASTE, IT ALMOST SOUNDS LIKE WHOEVER HAD THESE PROBLEMS WITH TO MUCH SALT USED THE ENTIRE AMOUNT CALLED FOR IN THE RECIPIE WHEN THEY ONLY SHOULD OF USED ENOUGH FOR THEY'RE PERSONAL TASTE.

IT IS WONDERFUL.......A GREAT MIX OF FLAVORS, I'VE MADE IT 3 TIMES IN 2 WEEKS AND EVERYONE LOVED IT. TRY JUST USING THE SEASONING TO TASTE OR SPARINGLY. DO NOT USE IT ALL OR TO MUCH, THATS WHERE THE PROBLEM WAS,I USE THAT SEASONING MIXTURE ON ALOT OF THING WHEN I COOK AND KEEP IT HANDY WITH ALL MY OTHER SPICES.

i think the previous reviewers used too much of paula's house seasoning mixture. maybe i'm wrong but the recipe is for a "supply" of it and when you make the pork chops, just use a couple of teaspoons of it like i did. it was a dee-lish and colorful way to prepare pork chops. tip to paula...next time specify HOW MUCH of your seasoning is meant for a particular recipe.

Way too much salt!! I will try this recipe again totally without the Lady and Sons seasoning mixture, because we love blackberries, but the salt was so overwhelming that any other flavors were hidden. A disappointment for sure.

I loved this recipe and so did my husband. I replaced the blackberries with blueberries and used 1/2 the butter. It was very tasty and easy to prepare!

Not only was this dish beatitful but it also tasted great! It was pretty easy to make and I already had most of the ingredients at my house. The only modification I did was doubling the amount of honey and thyme to add a little more sweetness and flavor. It's hard for me to find recipes that I like for pork chops so this one is definitely a keeper!

I thought there was a little bit too much salt in the recipe. It seemed to overpower the other flavors of blackberry, honey, thyme, onion and garlic. I noticed it a little bit but i definetly would have loved more flavor from those components and less from the salt. I would try to make this again with less salt next time tho!

Tried this after seeing it on Paula's show last week. This was absolutely delicious, an unexpected pairing. Very easy to make and affordable, I used frozen blackberries. A great spring dish. There were no issues with the recipe.
