    This is positively the best apple pie I have ever tasted!! It was worth all the peeling, slice and stacking the apples.
    Every bite was pure heaven!!!!!

    I live very close to Kimmswick, MO and have eaten at the Blue Owl several times. I am so happy it is getting attention from Food Network! The food at the Blue Owl is fantastic, and their desserts are out of this world!!!

    I just want to say this is the best pie Ive ever had! It was so easy too. I ordered it directly through www.theblueowl.com and they shipped it directly to my door! I'm planning vacation to St. Louis this summer and I'm definitely planning a stop to the blue owl restaurant and bakery in Kimmswick MO!!

    This recipe is great, but then I realized I could order it from The Blue Owl Restaurant itself which is even better. It arrives ready to bake. www.theblueowlgiftshop.com will ship it right to your front door.

    I am sure this would be a 5 star rating IF I could find out WHERE to purchase the stainless steel bowl used to layer the apples in. Also, the demensions of the bowl would be handy.
