This was delicious! I opted to fry my chicken quickly and slowly finish it off in the oven. This one is definately a keeper.

This was simple to make, but still very flavorful! I was afraid my chicken would be dry - I chose to use very thin pre-cut breasts, but it was delicious & not dry at all. Taking the few extra minutes to add spices to your flour, egg wash & bread crumb mixtures really bumps up the flavor. Thank you Paula! My family never has anything leftover when it comes to your recipes!

This chicken was so tasty! I pounded mine out a little like other reviewers and used half panko and half bread crumbs with Italian seasonings. I had some McCormick Greek Seasonings in my cupboard so I used that instead of making my own. I think it would be good as chicken fingers dipped in marinara sauce too. It was just sooo.....good! I can't wait to have the leftovers tonight! Thanks, Paula, for another winner!

Oh Paula!! This has to be the best chicken we've ever eaten! The only things I did differently was pound the chicken breasts to even thickness first and I used Panko bread crumbs, which added a nice crunch. Everyone went ballistic over the chicken, even my 5 & 6 year old grandkids, who are very picky eaters. They are all begging for more!! Thank you my southern friend!

I followed the recipe word for word and it was perfect! The only thing i would change would be to add more hot sauce due to my husband and my personal preference towards hot foods!
Can't wait to make this again!

I made this recipe yesterday...I did some things that I always do when using chicken; I pounded the breasts, to a more even thickness; I use a little milk with the egg, for the wash; my breasts were quite large, so I adjusted the cooking time accordingly. This recipe had all the taste and flavor of chicken cordon blue without all the work. I also waited until the last few minutes of cooking to add the cheese to the top of the ham, and because I love country(salty ham, that is what I use. Thanks Paula, for the 'deconstructed chix cordon blue'!

Honey, you might try reading the recipe again. You weren't supposed to use the whole cup of house seasoning on the chicken!! I haven't made the recipe yet, but knowing Paula, it will be awesome! She is my butter buddy!!

This recipe was good. Some people really need to reread the recipe. How could anyone put an entire batch of house seasoning in their recipe and then complain about it being awful. The seasoning is good but only requires 1 teaspoon!!!!! Like the recipe says.

I really loved this recipe, it was delicious. I used roasted ham slices that I got from the deli counter, because of the comments about the salty taste. This dish came out perfectly. I did have larger chicken breasts and had to adjust the bake time to 20 mins. My husband thought it was great too!
