Boy, talk about as easy, elegant dessert. Looks like it took longer than it did. I did not use rum, but I did not miss it. As you spoon the banana mixture over the cold ice cream, some of the liquid gets hard and tastes like the topping on creme brulee! This definitely goes in my book for future making!

This is great - awesome sauce - simple - will make again. The sauce could be good on pancakes, waffles or french toast.

My 13 year-old decided to treat my husband and me with this dessert last week. WOW! What a treat! Simple recipe. You can add a dash of cinnamon if you'd like, but it's great just the way it is. Be careful with the initial flame of lighting the alcohol. My daughter poured in the rum, but I lit. Have made two more times this week. Delicious!

My husband and I decided we wanted to try something new; so I had thought of why not try Bananas Foster?? I found this easy recipe and reviewed the comments and what everyone stated this to be easy and great. After what seemed to be a 5 minute prep/cook time we had a sophisticated dessert on our hands that was to die for!!! Would recommend this to anyone!
